‘Telltales‘ is Falmouth’s monthly evening of short stories, novel extracts, poetry or prose; a chance for readers, writers and listeners to gather together and hear what Cornwall’s writing scene has to say for itself.
This month’s theme is ‘Future, Perfect?‘ and it promises to serve up glasses of optimism laced with despair, a slice or two of prophecy, some apocalyptic sprinklings, a shot of hope, topped off with the drinking straw of dystopia. Alternatively, of course, it could be referring to a somewhat unusual tense. I guess there’s only one way to find out.
There will be at least six writers reading their own work for your enjoyment, including Mac Dunlop and Nick Jarvis.
Telltales happens at The Rum Bar, above Nancy’s, in Falmouth (TR11 3PN) on 29th March. Doors open at 7pm for a 7.30pm start.
